Goals and interests
- Career goal
My hopes are to become a physical therapy assistant, as I love helping people. I believe in the power of touch. Once appropriate touch is recognized it seems like a layer of trust with the other individual is formed. I want to not just be the therapist helping a patient, but I want them to know and understand that I care for them, want the best for them, and can see their potential for growth in physical and mental, social, spiritual ways.
- Graduate school interests
I am hoping to attend Loma Linda University to receive my credential in Physical therapy Assisting.
- Outside the classroom
I play 8 instruments, write music, and sing. I also enjoy snowboarding and running up to Lake Tahoe when the snow is the most fresh. I enjoy backpacking and jumping in lakes in the summer, as well as participating in obstacle courses like Spartan races and Tough Mudder races.
