About

My name is Chloe Fisher, and I'm currently a student at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. I will be receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry in December of 2017. I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ, and moving to Flagstaff in 2014 for school was the first time I had ever experienced a "move". Even though it is only a 4 hour drive from my campus to my hometown, it was definitely an eye opening experience. I do, however, visit Tucson quite often, mainly due to the fact that I still help with warranty paperwork and reception duties at my prior job at Desert Toyota of Tucson. Finding my independence gave me a great deal of time to focus on what I wanted to accomplish in life, and the road I've traveled down the past few years has been extremely beneficial. I played soccer for 13 years of my life, and I absolutely loved it. Although I don't have the opportunity to be a part of a soccer team anymore, I make sure to keep my body and mind healthy with any physical activities whether it be in the gym, outside hiking or swimming. I love traveling and exploring all of the different types of beauty that surrounds us (including nature, new food, cultures, and more new food). After graduating with my undergraduate degree, I'm hoping to further my education on into graduate school to pursue my Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. My family has always struggled financially in life, but their souls are made of pure gold. I want to accomplish everything I set my mind to in hopes that I make them proud. My family and friends are my motivation, and I wouldn't be where I am today without their unconditional love and support.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy exercising (especially hiking), traveling, reading, and trying everything at least once. I've taken lessons for around six different instruments, and although it wasn't something I was ever extremely passionate about, I enjoyed the short-lived experiences. I love camping, swimming, and being a die hard sports fan (mainly college basketball). Although science is related to my educational journey and hobbies are usually focused on activities outside of school and work, I absolutely love expanding my knowledge about human anatomy and physiology. I relate my research from school to almost everything I do in life, and I really enjoy expanding my studies outside of the classroom.
