About
I'm currently a Freshman at Princeton University from Upstate New York. I'm very intellectually curious in a variety of subjects and right now I'm not exactly sure what I want to major in. My main academic interests are Near Eastern Studies, Economics, Politics, and Romance languages. Outside of academics, I'm involved in Princeton Faith and Action, Student Government, and Tiger Investments. I also play piano, guitar, drums, and bass. I primarily focus on bass and play in the jazz band. I also bartend and DJ for university events.
In the future, I'm not sure what field I want to work in. Hopefully, I can do something where I can lead an important organization with meaningful impact on the world. I have already worked with some amazing organizations such as Playing for Change, which helped provide music schools to impoverished peoples around the world. They created unique pieces of music using tracks from musicians from various countries all playing in one song. Other famous participants included artists such as Bono and Jimmy Buffett.

- Outside the classroom
Music is a big passion in my life. I have played the bass for 11 years in areas ranging from orchestral classical music, jazz, and rock. For years I was in the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, which is designed for gifted youths to have a semi-professional musical experience. However, in college I started branching off and have recently delved into the completely different form of Jazz. I also have studied Spanish and Portuguese style Flamenco on the Classical Guitar at Eastman School of Music and have led a Music Therapy group that aided patients cope with serious mental illnesses. I also DJ on the side.
Athletics is also important to a healthy lifestyle. Being from Upstate New York, snowboarding is a part of the culture and very important to me. I also play tennis and squash at the university at the club level. I also race cars and have been to events by the Flying Lizard Motorsport team.
