About

During my whole academic experience, I have been taught and learned many lessons whether it be from school, friends, or family. The one lesson that always sticks with me is to be on top of things. It may come off as obvious and maybe even redundant but you'd be surprised how many people get quickly overwhelmed by the smallest things. By simply putting even the slightest assignment off can end up setting you back quite a bit in the long run. This was once a way of conduct of mine before I realized the relief, importance, and value of finishing a task right when you have the smallest opportunity. I would often push things off telling myself, "I've got time", or "I can do it tomorrow". I realized it the hard way how unfavorable such a demeanor was. After such a performance one can always be heard uttering words such as, "There's so much work to do," or "This class is so hard," though said predicament could have been avoided with better prioritizing, scheduling, and management. Better to be early, calm, and sure than to be rushed, frustrated, and distressed.
