About
I started my college career at Oakton Community College where I earned an Associates of the Arts, Presidential Scholar award, and where I was a member of the honor society, Phi Theta Kappa. I then transferred to the University of Illinois where I was the recipient of the Transfer Merit Tuition Award and the IATSE Local 476 Upperclassman Scholarship. I also entered the honors college and was on the Dean's list for both of the two semesters that I have been there.

Transfer Merit Tuition Award
This award is given to students on a competitive basis based on how their written statement illustrates their education and career goals as well as how they have financed their tution prior to applying for the scholarship.

IATSE Local 476 Upperclassman Scholarship
This was awarded to those who were able to illustrate how their/their family's involvement in Local 476 had affected their life.

Presidential Scholar Award
This was awarded to those that were able to achieve a 4.0 while at Oakton Community College. I had received this award each semester that I was a full time student there.
