About
As a former foster youth, and current Community Education coordinator for the Salt Lake City School District and Advanced Standing Master of Social Work student at the University of Utah, I have served the community in various capacities. My educational journey has consisted of many personal and financial hardships but I have persevered. I maintained employment my entire education, because I lacked the privilege of familial emotional and financial support. In addition to being a student and working, I have interned with SLC Youth Services, National MS Society, FosterClub, and UNP Hartland. This is evidence of dedication to my education and is indicative of my resilience, passion, and purpose to be a Licensed Financial Social Worker to advocate and serve youth nationwide.
