About

I am a dedicated scholar, federal civilian leader, and mother pursuing a calling in Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus on strengthening military-connected and underserved families. I currently maintain a 3.74 GPA while serving full-time as a Work & Family Life Specialist and Transition Assistance Program Manager.

My professional work centers on supporting service members and their families through relocation, deployment, and transition. I am passionate about building systems that reduce stress, promote resilience, and restore stability within the family unit. I have been honored as a Star Service Civilian of the Year recipient, inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success, and named to the Dean’s List (Summer 2025).

My Christian faith is foundational to both my leadership and academic journey. I believe we are called to serve with integrity, compassion, and humility. Scripture reminds me that perseverance produces character, and character produces hope (Romans 5:3–4). That truth guides how I parent, lead, and pursue excellence in my studies. My education in behavioral science and positive psychology complements my faith by equipping me with evidence-based tools to support healing and restoration within families.

Long term, I aspire to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, integrating clinical excellence, trauma-informed practice, and faith-informed compassion to expand accessible mental health support for military families and the broader community.

I believe strong families build strong communities, and I am committed to serving others with both professional competence and Christ-centered compassion. Leadership, resilience, and service are not just values I strive for—they are expressions of my faith in action.

Outside the classroom

Outside of my professional and academic commitments, I enjoy activities that promote physical health, personal growth, and meaningful connection. I value strength training and running as outlets for discipline and stress management, as well as time outdoors that allows me to reflect and recharge. I am passionate about personal development and regularly study topics related to psychology, leadership, faith, and emotional growth.

As a mother, much of my free time is spent supporting my son’s activities and creating intentional family experiences. I also enjoy writing, reading, and engaging in conversations that foster depth, encouragement, and spiritual growth. My Christian faith is central to my life, and I find joy in prayer, Scripture study, and serving others within my community.
