About

Jewelry feeds the hunger of emotional metamorphosis. Christina Chivone nourishes peoples’ transformations through her zeal for jewelry design. She focuses her work on pulling out the emotions underneath the surface, whether it is appreciation, admiration, or anger. Her work represents the hidden voices within people that they struggle to let out.

Growing up in Lithonia Georgia, Christina spent her early childhood drawing and daydreaming for a clothing line that fitted her aesthetic. She started sketching clothing but soon switched to jewelry for a more creative expression and to feel closer to her purpose in life.

In order to enhance her skills for her purpose, the young artist started attending Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. She is currently obtaining her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Jewelry that she plans to use for pursuing a career in jewelry design. Her talent is growing through every course and will continue to expand due to her passion for helping people express themselves through jewelry.

Goals and interests

Career goal

It is important to me to master my gift after attaining my degree. For the following four to five years after college, I plan to work as a bench jeweler in order to master my bench skills. By the time I finish, my passion for being an entrepreneur and jewelry designer will be overflowing, which will make it the next step in my career. The ultimate career dream is to own a jewelry design house in Toronto, Canada with all manufacturing done in-house. However, since I enjoy metal fabrication, I want to extend that love to other areas of art, such as house décor. Regardless of what I do, I find it important to engage in philanthropy through it. If you're going to do something you love, you might as well spread that love to others as well.
