I am a recent graduate of Michigan State University, Honors College with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and a cognitive and computational concentration. I am now enrolled at the University of Michigan to earn my master's degree in management and pursue a career in healthcare management.

Goals and interests
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy playing the piano, learning Spanish, reading books (I have so far read 3 books of my intended 30 to read this year!), and playing Animal Crossing on my Nintendo Switch. Outside of the house, I enjoy engaging in the community wherever possible, whether it is spending time in nature with neighbors or volunteering at a local organization to support those around me.

As a Student Mentor, I met twice weekly with an elementary student to develop her skills in reading and writing. By the end of the program, I was ecstatic with her progress: she scored two levels higher on the post-test! Because of my assistance, the student will be able to transfer these skills to the classroom and have a higher chance of success in school.

As Recruitment Guide for two terms, I led groups of interested students through the Formal Recruitment process on campus. I held meetings to establish rules and regulations as well as discuss any questions or concerns about the process.

As Vice President, I was appointed to lead our chapter of 191 members. My main responsibilities were to create the master calendar, establish committees, and coordinate and plan visits for guests. I worked alongside the president and our local council, as well as with Kappa Kappa Gamma's headquarters, to organize every event.

As a National Representative, I was selected to represent my chapter at this national leadership conference (hosted in Marengo, OH by Kappa Kappa Gamma's Headquarters), in which I led group discussions with members nationwide and participated in team-building activities that strengthened skills in communication, trust, accountability, and integrity.

As an Active Member, I dedicated time (~100 hours in one year) towards individuals with disabilities. My hours were divided up between "live hours" (e.g. reading aloud and scribing exams for a visually-impaired student) and fundraising events (e.g. the 2018 Tower Guard Shamrock 5K, which raised over $16,000 dollars).
