About
IMDB: Chris Young (XXXVIII) State of Michigan: Licensed EMT American Sports and Fitness Association: Certified Personal Trainer
Performing since the age of four (professional by 10-years-old), singing, dancing, drumming and acting were all I knew. Upon reaching high school, I grew more involved in music, athletics, and the health-related professions. As an upperclassman, I found myself elected to the office of Vice-President in the local chapter of The Health Occupations Students of America movement. Additionally, I was award medals for placement in Regional and State Conferences with an honorary invitation to the National Leadership Conference.
Following completion of The Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Award requirements and completing a few seasons as a High School Diving Coach (one of only seven in a county of 32 high schools) and Percussion/Drum Line Composer/Arranger/Instructor, I enlisted in The United States Marine Corps -- where I completed one tour in Afghanistan and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in an unprecedented 3.5 years.
Immediately following the active-duty portion of my military contract, I was recognized as a Disabled Veteran and began pursuing a college education at an institution of higher learning in the Detroit, Michigan area. Current credentials include an educational certificate and an Associate's Degree, a National Registry Certification and current Michigan Healthcare Licensure, and currently providing service as an Ordained Priest in The Aaronic Priesthood.
For any potential employers reading this far: I am interested in providing meaningful work in the form of a well-needed service to you and your company which may require attention to detail, critical thinking, and ambition. Please contact me for opportunities to collaborate.
