About
I am a student at the University of Kentucky studying to become a cardiologist. I have lived in Kentucky my entire life, but my family is from Hawaii. I chose to attend the University of Kentucky because it is close to home with the advantage of having an excellent medical program. The choice of being pre-medicine has always been my decision due to my love of science and the rewards of helping others.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
In the future I would like to become a cardiologist because the human body is something that interests me. I am intrigued by the fact that surgeons can repair someone and change their life forever.
- Outside the classroom
I cheered for twelve years, but when this stopped I began working out which is one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy taking photographs and developing my own film. Along with photography I also play the piano, which is something I have taught myself to do occasionally.
