Cierra Turks

I grew up majority of my life in Illinois, but I have moved a few times before settling in Chicago for high school at King College Prep. I attended North Central College in Naperville and made some lifetime connections. I entered North Central as an Economics major (I don't know how that happened), but during Orientation, I gravitated toward Psychology. It was there where I started to get out of my comfort zone and become an active student on campus. I served on the board of Psychology Club as Treasurer, then moved up to presidency by my senior year, and maintained the Secretary of Students Lost in Pottery for three consecutive years, became a member of Psi Chi Honor Society, as well as served on the chapter board as Treasurer. I spent a great deal of college figuring out who I wanted to be and where I want to be in the future. I attended a Women's Retreat led by four amazing professors and made more connections with fellow students as well as became part of the ladyship (coined by a professor on the trip). In the end, I graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Sociology (Class of 2018).
