About
My name is Cindy Tatom. I am a member of the honor society. I graduated from Bossier Parish Community college with an associate degree in criminal justice. After making that achievement, I wanted to continue seeking a higher education so that more opportunities would be available to me. I am now an undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. I am seeking a bachelor's degree with a major in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. I love my degree program and everything my professors and advisors have taught me along the way. I can't wait to graduate in December and start my new journey and career.
My achievements in criminal justice and psychology are significant to my career goals because I want to work with children who are disadvantaged and may even suffer from trauma or mental illness. Having already graduated with an associate degree in criminal justice, I have the credentials to work with juveniles in some areas but once i finish my bachelor’s degree in psychology I will have so many more options available to me. I plan to use my degree to land a career that will enable me to work with children in detention centers and mental health facilities. Then I can enjoy doing what I love while also having a career and making a living. So, I won’t ever work a day in my life. This is what I'm passionate about!
