About
My name is Chelsea Fuller. I am a recent graduate from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. I will continue my education at Sam Houston beginning in the fall of 2015 with a Master's in Homeland Security. I have always had a desire for helping people and that is why I want to work in the Disaster Relief/Recovery Response field. There is not a more humbling feeling than to help a person in their most vulnerable state. It is rewarding to say the least. Anything involving search and rescue has been a special interest of mine. Homeland Security gives me a unique opportunity to further my knowledge in Crisis Operations and one day use that knowledge in those Crisis/Rescue scenarios. I want to make an impact in people's lives. When they feel like they have no one else to turn to, I will be there.

My intended path would be to work in a Disaster Response/Search and Rescue Recovery Team. I want to be on the grounds engaging with whomever needs help. Some of the employers that I have an interest in working for are the American Red Cross, First Responders of America and Texas Equusearch. Although those are only a few organizations that are an interest of mine, I would love the opportunity to work for an agency in Homeland Security or the Department of Defense.
