Clara Linkenhoker

I am currently in school getting my degree in Restaurant, Hospitality and Retail Management at Remington College then afterwards I plan to go to the Louisiana Culinary Institute and get my Bachelors in Culinary, Baking & Pastry. Growing up with a sister who has severe allergies I made it my goal to be able to make her allergy friendly food she could eat, that is what has inspired me to the path I am on today, One day I want to be the head chef of my own Farm to Table restaurant specializing in Allergy friendly food.
I am from a small village in the NorthWest Louisiana where opportunities are small but it has never stopped me from dreaming big and making my goals even bigger. Every chance I get to further my culinary learning I take the opportunity, whether it be a lesson from my Papa (A Former Cajun Chef) or just a new recipe online I want to learn everything I can.
I have worked in a restaurant as a prep chef and I am currently working on a kitchen crew at a camp as one of the main staff which I enjoy so much, I have been there for almost two years now.
