About

I am currently enrolled at Carlsbad Early College High School, where I will graduate in May 2026 with both my high school diploma and an associate’s degree in Business Management from South East New Mexico College. Academically, I am an active member of the National Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa, reflecting my commitment to scholarship, leadership, and service.

Beyond the classroom, I have pursued my passion for dance, earning multiple scholarships and awards that recognize both my skill and dedication. I also devote time to my church, serving as a high school missionary, a young women’s leader, and participating in community service projects through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Professionally, I have gained valuable work experience at a local furniture store, where I have earned two promotions due to my strong work ethic and reliability. These opportunities have strengthened my leadership, responsibility, and communication skills.

Through my academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, community service, and work experience, I have developed a strong foundation of discipline, perseverance, and leadership that I look forward to building upon in the next stage of my education and career.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to become a professional dancer and choreographer, and later transition into teaching dance. I hope to perform professionally, gaining experience that will allow me to create and share meaningful choreography with diverse audiences. Over time, I want to open opportunities for younger dancers by teaching and mentoring, whether through a studio, school, or community program. My long-term vision is to combine my passion for dance with my leadership skills to inspire others, foster creativity, and provide a space where people can grow through movement. Alongside my career, I also aspire to be a mother, balancing my professional path with my personal goal of raising and guiding a family.

Graduate school interests

Looking ahead, I am interested in pursuing graduate studies that will allow me to deepen both my artistic and academic knowledge. My primary interest is earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Dance, which would provide me with advanced training in performance, choreography, and pedagogy. This degree would prepare me not only to continue developing as a professional dancer and choreographer, but also to teach at the collegiate or studio level, where I can inspire and mentor the next generation of dancers.

In addition, I am also open to exploring graduate programs in arts administration or education, as these fields would complement my associate’s degree in Business Management and support my long-term goal of possibly running a dance program or studio. A graduate degree will give me the opportunity to combine my passion for dance with the leadership, organizational, and teaching skills I have already begun developing, creating a strong foundation for both my career and future contributions to the dance community.
