About

Born in Mexico City, I immigrated to the United States at the age of 11. As an English Learner, migrant student, and special education student, I faced significant academic challenges but remained determined. I became a single parent while starting college but never gave up on my goal of becoming an educator. Through perseverance and dedication, I advanced in my field, earning multiple degrees and awards while supporting underrepresented students.
