About
My name is Cody Peterman. I'm currently 22 years old and attending the University of Michigan-Flint. I am double majoring in Health Care Administration as well as Nursing. I've always had a passion for helping people along with face to face interactions; whether it is through umpiring little league baseball and softball, training clients at my local gym or simply helping out my extended family on the weekends with yard work or farm work. I strongly believe what sets me apart from my colleagues is my drive and determination. Simply stated, once I have my mind set on a goal, literally no obstacles phase me in obtaining that goal. I'm very passionate at whatever I do, and combined with my competitive nature, I will be a very strong asset to any company or organization that decides to make me apart of their team!

Goals and interests
- Career goal
In my mind, I foresee myself working inside either an ER or ICU unit as an RN nurse for roughly 10 to 15 years to gain clinical experience. After completion of that, I would like to use my Administration degree to one day run my own floor as a Nurse Manager, or become a Director one day. My mind is always on the search for the biggest challenge, so if a hospital or other health care organization thinks I am the right fit for a challenging job, I would be more than willing to take on the obstacle full force!
- Graduate school interests
I have explored the idea of Graduate school, not so much for the increase in salary benefits or to make myself look more marketable; simply for the fact that I always feel the need to better myself academically.
- Outside the classroom
I am an avid outdoors man which includes, fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, boating, snowmobiling, ATV riding. I also thoroughly enjoy exercising in all shapes and forms. I have a passion for cooking and baking along with continuously adding to my antique coin collection.
