About

My Journey in Leadership, Data, and Innovation**

I have spent nearly 15 years navigating the intersections of politics, data analytics, and human resource technology, building a career defined by strategic leadership and operational efficiency. Born in Dallas, Texas, I have lived in nine states across the country, from the warm coasts of Florida and California to the northern landscapes of Oregon. Experiencing different regions and cultures has shaped my adaptability and broadened my perspective, allowing me to connect with diverse communities and organizations in meaningful ways.

Now based in Denver, Colorado, I am currently pursuing an MBA at Colorado University, Denver. I chose this program not only because of its accelerated coursework but also because of its convenience—just a 10-minute bike ride from my home. The opportunity to further my education while staying close to my family and professional commitments made it the perfect fit.

Professionally, I thrive in roles that require both analytical precision and strategic execution. As an **HRIS Data Manager** at Tristar Risk Management, I oversee human resources information systems for more than 1,000 employees. My role involves optimizing HR data management, ensuring compensation structures are competitive, streamlining recruitment processes, and improving compliance reporting. My expertise in HR software systems like Paycom, Workday, and Ceridian has allowed me to enhance operational efficiency and improve the overall employee experience.

Before joining Tristar, I worked at the **U.S. Census Bureau**, managing large-scale government programs across a 12-state region. As a **Data Manager**, I developed mapping products and real-time tracking systems that significantly improved recruitment and data accuracy. By integrating SQL-based databases and GIS analytics, I helped streamline government data collection, ensuring operations were both efficient and precise. My time with the Census Bureau reinforced my ability to manage complex datasets and lead teams through large-scale initiatives.

Early in my career, I was heavily involved in political and nonprofit campaign management, where I developed a deep passion for organizing and strategic communication. I had the opportunity to serve as **Deputy State Director** for the Udall for Colorado U.S. Senate Campaign and later as a **Campaign Manager** for a congressional race. These roles allowed me to apply my skills in fundraising, digital outreach, and grassroots organizing, translating data-driven insights into impactful voter engagement strategies.

Beyond my professional career, I am also a **multi-family property investor**, using my analytical skills to make informed real estate decisions. In my personal life, I am an avid snowboarder who takes full advantage of Colorado’s beautiful mountains. More importantly, I am a new father, which has given me an even greater appreciation for time and balance. I believe that “we have all the time in the world, and we shouldn’t use any of it doing nothing.”

My career has been defined by a commitment to data-driven decision-making, leadership, and operational innovation. Whether working in HR technology, managing large-scale government programs, or leading political initiatives, I have always been driven by the challenge of translating complex information into strategic action. As I continue my MBA and expand my expertise, I remain dedicated to making a meaningful impact in every field i enter.
