As a research intern, I had the opportunity to work on a project titled Rural Feminisms. This year-long research involved the interviewing of local women who were involved in the second-wave of feminism. This project aimed to create an exhibit showcasing how feminism was thought of and enacted in a rural setting and celebrated the accomplishments and consciousness-raising such women had made in the community when they came together.
