About
Connor Mann is a senior at Central Arkansas Christian High School in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where he has distinguished himself through academic excellence, leadership, music, and community involvement. With a 4.333 GPA and a 35 ACT score, Connor has earned recognition as a National Merit Semifinalist and has been accepted into the University of Arkansas Honors College.
Connor's interests extend well beyond the classroom. He is an Arkansas All-State Choir member, a three-time Arkansas NATS state vocal champion, and a district Quiz Bowl MVP. He also enjoys playing guitar and using his musical talents as part of his church's worship team.
His leadership and professional experiences include participation in the North Little Rock Youth Leadership Program, an engineering job-shadowing opportunity with Garver, and an internship with Action Claim Service. These experiences have strengthened his interest in problem-solving, innovation, and serving others.
Connor plans to pursue a degree in engineering at the University of Arkansas, with the possibility of a minor in music. He hopes to combine his analytical abilities, creativity, and strong personal values to make a meaningful contribution to his profession and community.
Guided by his Christian faith, Connor believes that success is measured not only by personal achievement but also by integrity, service, and the positive impact one has on others.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My career goal is to become an engineer, using my strengths in mathematics, science, and creative problem-solving to develop innovative solutions that improve people's lives. I plan to pursue an engineering degree at the University of Arkansas while continuing to develop my interests in music, leadership, and service. Ultimately, I hope to build a career that challenges me intellectually, allows me to make a meaningful impact, and reflects my values of integrity, hard work, and faith.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in pursuing graduate studies in engineering to further develop my technical knowledge, research abilities, and problem-solving skills. While I have not yet selected a specific engineering discipline, I am open to pursuing a master’s degree or potentially a doctorate as my academic interests and career goals develop. My ultimate goal is to use advanced education to contribute to innovation, technological advancement, and meaningful solutions to real-world challenges.
- Outside the classroom
Outside the classroom, I enjoy pursuing my passion for music, serving my community, and developing my leadership skills. I am an All-State Choir member, a three-time Arkansas NATS vocal competition champion, and a guitarist in my church's worship band. Music provides me with a creative outlet and an opportunity to connect with others while using my talents to serve God. I have also participated in the North Little Rock Youth Leadership Program, completed an engineering job-shadowing experience with Garver, and gained valuable professional experience through an internship with Action Claim Service. These activities have helped me develop discipline, teamwork, leadership, and a strong appreciation for serving others. I strive to maintain a balance between academic achievement, personal growth, faith, and meaningful relationships.
