About

I am Chinese American. My parents adopted me from Chongqing, China, at the age of thirteen months. I grew up in a small, rural, and agricultural community where I was a minority in regard to my ethnicity. Growing up as a minority challenged me to creatively look beyond my immediate circumstance into the future. Despite the disconnection from my culture, I learned valuable skills from my situation.

I am very determined to succeed in everything that I do. I am very focused, studious, and adaptable. I will take initiative to complete any job that I start and will search for more to do when finished. I always strive to be punctual, responsible, and honest. I am very organized, neat, and straightforward. I am moderately confident and make the most out of every situation.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am interested in the medical field, uncertain of what I desire to practice in the future, but intend to focus on naturopathic medicine primarily.

Outside the classroom

In my free time, I love running. I am always organizing everything, and I love to learn. Other activities that I enjoy include playing the piano, reading, and shopping.
