About

My academic and professional journey reflects a longstanding commitment to excellence, perseverance, professional maturity, and lifelong learning. I began my nursing career by graduating at the top of my class with honors from Jefferson-Lewis BOCES while earning my Licensed Practical Nurse credential. Building upon that foundation, I pursued my Associate Degree in Nursing at St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, graduating summa cum laude while balancing the responsibilities of raising two young children and working full time. I later completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University, where my academic achievements earned me induction into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, recognizing my dedication to scholarship and academic distinction.

Professionally, I have devoted my career to serving patients as a critical care registered nurse, providing compassionate, holistic, evidence-based patient-centered care to individuals facing complex and life-threatening conditions. Working in a high-acuity environment has strengthened my clinical judgment, resilience, and commitment to patient advocacy. These experiences have inspired my continued pursuit of advanced education as I work toward becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner at Purdue Global University.

As a first-generation college graduate in my family, my educational achievements represent not only personal milestones but also a deep commitment to advancing healthcare through knowledge, leadership, and service. My goal is to continue expanding my clinical expertise and to use my education to improve patient outcomes, promote preventive health, and serve as a compassionate and knowledgeable provider within the communities I care for.
