Cynthia Painter

I am working toward my Bachelor's Degree. I want to get my Teaching Certificate. I would like to teach Elementary School. I really enjoy interacting with the younger school age children. I want to teach them Communication Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science. I want to see the "light bulb moment" when they got it, and they can articulate what they know.

I want to eventually get my Master's Degree and teach Middle School Science. This is the age when they are really interested in their environment, and how they fit into this universe. They want to make a difference, and are concerned what outside circumstances affect them. If they feel they are in control, or can be a part of things, they will hopefully strive to make this a better world.

I am the adventurous type. I like going to new places and trying new things. I like dining, dancing, going to movies, sporting events, such as baseball, hockey, soccer, and football games, in that order. I have played on volleyball and softball leagues. I love to swim, read, and relax by the pool Most of all, I like to hang out with friends and family. I would like to travel more.
