About

I am born and raised in Omaha, and I grew up as a "ward of state". I was looking for a family as a child that would fill the void I had in my life, and since I was never adopted I found that love in the streets. I learned after spending 6 years in the penitentiary that there was more to my life than I had allowed. God showed me that he called me by separating me from everyone. Luke 12:51-"Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division." since the path god has chosen for me was illuminated, my need for anything else in my life but him has been eliminated. Where this path is headed I am unsure, but if I am running from the pain of my past or towards the hope of my future, I will not slow down nor will I stop. For it is written, Luke 9:58-"foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head". For the person I once was and am now, from a man who had no reason to believe I can no longer ignore, I am his seed. Matthew 13:32 - though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch on its branches." I just hope I am planted firmly enough. But I have been forgiven and delivered from the man I once was and no longer do I question who I am. I am a man of god. and I hope I can influence the lives of the children in my community. Through the scars of my flesh that bare witness to the pain of my past, and through the sight of my eyes that bare witness of the reality and possibilities of the Hope for a better way.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I want to Become a Diesel Technician and learn about the future of Bio-Diesel Technology. I want to revolutionize the Diesel Industry by contributing to better fuel economy, cleaner air engines. I want to start a transportation business that takes advantage of these better quality fuel burning systems and cost effective alternatives for our country to take a closer step towards Minimizing our countries need of foreign goods.
I also want to open the door for children in the states care to travel the world even if its only down the street, I want the sight of more than what their eyes have seen to create the potential hope of their future, a lot of times we just wanted to get away, if only for a second.

Graduate school interests

If I was going to further my education after become a certifies diesel mechanic, I would go back to school for Bio-Chemistry to better understand Bio-Diesel Fuel and what I could do to use my knowledge acquired as a mechanic to help the Bio-Diesel industry and Diesel Technology.

Outside the classroom

I love writing and reading. I have a love for philosophy, by Greek definition, the love of learning. I am also intrigued by psychology and Sigmund Freud's theories on dream interpretation. I love classical music, I think music without words actually focuses the thoughts of the mind and music with lyrics actually produce thought. So classical music relaxes me. I also work-out, I have been lifting for almost 10 years now, and I am trying to eat healthier, guess my hobby is self-discipline.
