{"Recognize the weapon in your mind" - Halsey } ~~

As a first-generation student and adopted child (oldest of six!) born to a family battling addiction and poverty, I always felt the odds were stacked against me. After years of struggling with mental health, I learned to turn my pain into fuel. Every day I choose to break the cycle and pave my own way. I'm not "supposed" to be where I am right now - passionate, determined, and achieving this level of success. Yet, here I stand. Fulfillment to me is knowing I can grab others by the hand and raise them up, too.
