LSAMP Scholar of the Year Award
This award is given by the "Peach State Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation" program to one student at Georgia Perimeter college who has done well academically and performed well in summer research. I received this in April 2016.

Best poster Award for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics Talent Expansion Program (STEP) Summer Bridge 2 Research (2015) .
This award was given to the student in the Summer Bridge II Summer Research program with the best poster of their research.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am interested in working for an energy company after I graduate. I especially am interested in green energy production. Solar power, wind energy, and thermoelectric energy are products that I want to manage and develop.
- Graduate school interests
I want to earn my master's degree in mechanical engineering. I feel that there is much to learn in the energy field and I want to learn more through research. After earning this advanced degree, I will be in a better position to work in a management and leadership position.
- Outside the classroom
I play clarinet, guitar, basketball. I often read books for pleasure and to be informed about my major.
