My name is Daniel Diaz, I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, and currently live in East Providence, Rhode Island. I am pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Rhode Island, with plans to also complete a minor in mathematics. My academic achievements have been recognized by being part of the Dean's List all semesters, and I possess a total cumulative GPA of 3.98/4.0. As a first-generation immigrant college student, I am deeply passionate about technology and its ability to change the world. I am excited about the opportunity to further my education and contribute to the field of technology through a challenging and dynamic internship or job opportunity.

As an ambitious and driven individual, I am excited to continue my education and deepen my understanding of cutting-edge technologies. I am particularly interested in pursuing a Master's degree in Machine Learning or Cybersecurity, in order to become a expert in the field and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include coding and developing software, playing video games, as well as spending quality time with my family and friends. I enjoy learning new technologies and finding ways to apply them to my projects. I also value the importance of balancing work and leisure and cherish the moments spent with loved ones.
