About
Working on a Business Administration w/emphasis on Accounting and Entrepreneurship to help with my educational goals. As a High School student, I was very involved with school activities, sports and leadership. Leadership was my passion and I enjoy learning and giving back what I have learned as a way of "emptying" myself so that I may have an opportunity for continued growth. During my four years in High School, I was involved in various ASB leadership roles. From Freshman and Sophomore class senator to ASB school Treasurer and finally ASB school President where I had the privilege to lead my high school during my Senior year.
Challenge was something that I looked forward too and with that, came the opportunity to lead school assemblies as the primary MC. That in itself may not appear to be too difficult, but for a student bod of over 2,200, that adds a new prospective to the challenge and most of all opportunity. I enjoyed seeing the school engagement from the student body, my peers and the educators as well. Doing this, gave me a great sense of confidence and desire to work with people and feel confident doing this.
Also, I enjoyed sports throughout my schooling being on the swim team and baseball team for the past several years. Perhaps one of my greatest achievements, was being chosen as team captain for both swim and baseball team during my senior year. Again, this not only gave me a sense of family for my team, but most of all an opportunity for growth and leadership.
I strive for continued growth opportunities and hope that during my college years, I continue to take advantage of leadership and service opportunities. As a current ASB programmer in my first year of college, I have already been able to take advantage of serval service projects, activities and leadership retreat which continues to boost my confidence and development as a future business leader.
