Daniela Lopez

My mission is to work for a company where I can serve as a valuable HR partner in organizational alignment, help shape and enhance the company's culture, and encourage all employees to reach their fullest potential. As a strategic HR partner, I will help leaders identify root causes of performance issues and make recommendations on organizational designs that align with the company’s goals. As a culture champion, I will continually assess the current culture, and collaborate with other leaders to develop a strategic culture plan if change is necessary. As an advocate for developing talent, I plan to develop and implement training programs that add value to employees and ensure everyone has equal opportunity to grow and develop their skills.

The MBA in HR Management program offered at Golden State University provides me with the tools and experience I need to improve my business acumen, the most critical competency for me to develop. As an HR professional and strategic business partner, it’s important for me to fully understand an organization’s business in order to provide the leadership and support necessary to succeed. Additionally, I enjoy and benefit from the hands-on activity-based learning approaches that takes place in their classrooms, learning from expert instructors on how to serve as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, and collaborating with my fellow students on developing strategic solutions to complex business problems.

I'm very family oriented and really enjoy coordinating family gatherings, especially for birthdays and other holidays. I also enjoy going on hikes and cooking.
