About
I'm a student on the verge of completing my Associates in Paralegal Studies with a G.P.A. of 4.0. From there, I'll head to Lipscomb University for my B.A. in Psychology. My ultimate goal is law school. Afterwards, I intend to use my skills to fight for those who are unable to fight for themselves. With a passion for justice, the law, and debate, I'm excited for what the future holds.
As a non-traditional adult learner, I am motivated by the childhood dreams I didn't follow straight out of high school. Coming from a deeply religious, fundamentalist background - I grew up in social circles that viewed a woman's role as confined to the household. Once I married, had my own kids, and moved out of state - I began to see past the way I had been taught and finally allowed myself to dream again. With three children of my own, I want to give them an example of a woman who can chase her passions, become successful, and still be an amazing wife and mother.
