About

I attended DePaul University right after I finished High School. I majored in Psychology with a concentration in Human Development. I also minored in Spanish during my time at the University. I was part of a Study Abroad Program through DePaul that went to Merida, Mexico which in the Yucuatan. While there we worked with children in the south side of the city. We worked with the children and their mothers to overcome many social restraints that occur, such as poverty and poor education. We taught them English, about the United States, how to work on computers, and other subjects we thought they would enjoy. Attending DePaul, opened my mind and expanded my goals for my future.

Career goal

I am now attending DePaul University to obtain my Master's in School Counseling. I hope to work in secondary school with young adults so that I can assist in leading them down a positive path in their life. I hope to help students realize both their educational and personal goals. I have always wanted to help the youth community, and I feel this is the best way I can do this successfully!
