About

Hi! I’m a senior studying Behavioral Studies with a focus on Mental Health. I’m passionate about helping people and making a positive impact in underserved communities. As someone who loves learning and growing, I’ve been honored to earn spots on the President’s and Dean’s Lists multiple times and to be a part of amazing organizations like NSLS and NHS. Outside of academics, I enjoy connecting with others, exploring new ideas, and finding ways to give back. I’m all about resilience, kindness, and making the world a little brighter one step at a time!

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is centered on mental health advocacy and community development, particularly focusing on underserved populations such as immigrants and minority communities. I aspire to work in roles where I can design and implement programs that improve access to mental health services, address systemic barriers, and empower individuals to achieve better outcomes for their well-being. Case management, program coordination, and advocacy roles within mental health organizations are areas where I see myself making the most immediate impact.

Graduate school interests

Looking ahead, I am interested in pursuing graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Public Health. These fields align with my passion for mental health and my commitment to addressing the broader social determinants of health. I am particularly drawn to programs that emphasize cultural competence, community-based interventions, and research-driven solutions for mental health care disparities.

Outside the classroom

When I’m not studying, you’ll probably find me reading, playing soccer, experimenting with photography, or cooking up something fun in the kitchen. I also love crocheting while binge-watching anime—it’s my perfect way to unwind.
