About
I discovered my passion for wanting to work with special needs kids while teaching Head Start. I was always trying to find other ways to help those students be able to learn and grow like the rest of the class but built more for them. After leaving my teaching role with Head Start I went to my local school district and began working as a paraprofessional in 2 early childhood special education classrooms and loved it. I've seen different teaching styles, aspects, schedule changes, growth in students, and learning how to better communicate and relate to them. Over the last year also I've gained my master's degree in special education and still wanting to learn and grow some more. So i'm going to go back to school and get my early childhood special education license also!
