About
International neuroscience student with a medical history, who simply aspires for pediatric neurology and to improve children’s brain health.
I attended three years of medical school in Russia before I transferred to the U.S. to study neuroscience and continue my goals of becoming a pediatric neurologist. I am currently working at a medical center through volunteering and the University of Chicago's Hospitalist Project, where I am gaining valuable experience in basic science, clinical research, and patient care.
I care a great deal about academic development, empathetic medicine, and the practical application of science to make children’s lives better. In the Honor Society, I am excited to get mentors, apply for scholarships, and also be part of a group of ambitious and service-oriented students.
