Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is to get my master degree in Social Work. My interest are wide. I will continue my education to be more competant in the work I am doing as a volunteer with minority women, families and immigrants. I intend to become more involved in the social changes that will be taking place in my local community in the coming years. I intend to be a licensed Social Worker with certificates in my areas of interest.
- Graduate school interests
I have been accepted into University of Northern Iowa accelerated one year master program for social work. I will do my internship with the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, Waterloo. Major focus for internship will be working with immigrant population and research on landlord-tenant issues due to language barriers.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy gardening, especially flowers. I have 2 year old Yorkie-Shiatzu dog which I enjoy. I also enjoy my 10 grandchildren. I enjoy reading and learning about various cultures.
