Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job will focus in the field of Psychology in which I will be empowered to help individual's suffering with psychological disorders and substance abuse. My ideal job will provide me with the ability to counsel individuals suffering with these disorders in the beginning until I obtain my Master's degree, in which I would expect my job expectations to increase along with my qualifications.

Graduate school interests

Upon graduating with my Bachelor's degree, I intend on furthering my education into a graduate degree program focused in Psychology. My state requires that any individual that desires to be a practicing psychologist must be a member of American Psychological Association. The WV APA requires that individuals seeking affiliation must have graduated from a WV state campus or have obtained a Ph.D., which can be from distance education courses or on campus courses. I am not located within a close range of WV State colleges that offer the clinical psychologist degree programs, thus I will have to obtain my doctorate degree before I am allowed to practice clinical psychology in the state of West Virginia.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy spending time with my family. One of our activities is going to church, watching movies, and playing video games together. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, performing genealogical research, and writing poetry.
