Darrell Cox is a highly motivated and resilient student currently attending the University of Maryland, College Park. He graduated from Oxon Hill High School with a 4.2 GPA, ranking in the top 11% of his class. During his high school career, Darrell consistently earned Principal’s Honor Roll recognition and excelled academically while engaging in numerous extracurricular activities.
Darrell demonstrated strong leadership skills as the captain of his varsity soccer team, where he fostered teamwork and inclusivity among his peers, leading his team to success. He also served as a member of the Police Explorers program for over four years, during which he participated in community outreach initiatives and mentored younger participants. Additionally, he held a leadership role in the National Honor Society as president assistant, coordinating service projects like a tutoring program that significantly benefited his peers.
