About
My instructional approach is characterized by a diverse range of teaching strategies and techniques, creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment. I am a passionate advocate for hands-on learning, recognizing the significance of combining curriculum with a variety of activities to facilitate the learning process. By connecting lessons with enthusiasm and employing strategies tailored to each student's learning style, I believe in taking both academic achievement and the self-confidence necessary for continued risk-taking in the learning journey.
My journey as an aspiring special education teacher is deeply rooted in my personal experiences as a student. As a child who excelled academically but faced challenges in behavioral aspects, I navigated a system that sought to categorize me rather than understand and nurture my potential. I believe that every student possesses unique strengths and abilities waiting to be unearthed. Acknowledging the diversity of learning styles and behavioral patterns, I aim to create an inclusive environment that fosters not only academic achievement but also personal and social growth.
