About
I'm a dedicated and driven student, and my time at the University of Texas at Dallas has taught me how important it is to become a well-rounded individual who can look at the world from different perspectives. I have learned that to be a writer I must be well-read in the literature of both the past and present. At UTD, I was able to meet professors and take classes that taught me exactly that. Everything from Shakespeare's sonnets to Virgil's Aeneid and the American Civil War to the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, has shaped within my mind ideas—thoughts that at this very moment are in the process of cultivation and, someday, I hope they will reap a product as precious as the seeds they once were.
