David Alexander

I am a very outgoing and self-motivated individual. I am currently working part-time and going to school at Keiser University and am studying Health Service Administration while maintaining a 3.8 GPA. I always knew that I wanted to work in the health field because one of my personality traits is caring for people. And because of that, I am currently volunteering at Lee Memorial Hospital as a surgery family liaison; informing family members of the current status of the patient currently undergoing surgery, just to get a feeling of how it works out in a hospital environment. I have also always found myself in situations whereas I am being asked about a concern and giving advice that later has made good impacts on other individuals. It can be from leading and winning math contests, being a deacon and overseer at a religious congregation, talking to a close friend about personal life decisions or being a team leader in local football games. I have enjoyed doing it all. Also while always maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA. Because of all my leadership experiences and caring personalities, I found that being a Health Service Administrator would allow me to care for people, even if indirectly, and expand on my good use of team player skills.
