About
Since I have a compassionate heart of service for others, I was propelled to complete my High School Equivalency Test in May 2020 and enter the college system as a brand new older student. School has never been easy for me; I have been diagnosed with dyslexia and a learning disability, which I have learned to overcome. As a student, I have accessed the Disability Support Services through the college to assist me. I also presently volunteer at the local community food closet and have done so for over the last three years. My ability to lead was recognized, and I was given the title of Distribution Supervisor. As a person of Native American descent, I am also participating in the development of the Indigenous Student Association Club through Western Nevada College.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
The major I have chosen is an Associate of Applied Science, focusing on Mechatronics Technology because it will give me a good foundation for my future pursuits. I am very interested in the Science of Cymatics, which is how frequency interacts with matter. My ultimate goal is to work with Electrical Engineers and build prototypes with them so that I may be able to develop new technology that will be used to heal humanity and planet earth. The reason I chose Western Nevada College was through my exploring; I found it highly recognized around the country as having an excellent program in Mechatronics.
