About
I am a highly-focused, full-time student in the Robert H. School of Business Honors Program at the University of Maryland - College Park, involved in all aspects of community life inside and outside of the classroom.
As a student at the University of Maryland, I’ve accrued a strong academic record that demonstrates my commitment to the highest standards of personal excellence. I have also shown my desire to be an active participant in the life of the school through my extracurricular activities. When I focused my efforts on Greek life in 2016, I was unanimously elected President of my fraternity. As I’ve worked to create a cohesive group motivated to contribute to the university and the community, my role as President has taught me leadership, finance, teamwork, and management skills. Setting goals, collaborating on projects, and building consensus to achieve our objectives have been the keys to our fraternity’s success thus far.
Outside the classroom, I have had several part-time jobs that have exposed me to business operations, finance and accounting, providing me with practical hands-on experience. Last summer, I was a Financial Operations Intern at Cross County Savings Bank. My responsibilities included constructing daily reports summarizing key interest rates to ensure competitive standards, analyzing financial documents to confirm transparency in all facets of branch activity, and utilizing Microsoft Excel to facilitate day-to-day client monitoring processes. Prior to that, I worked as a Project Coordinator at PTS Data Center Solutions. Using my attention to detail and organizational skills, I performed onsite management tasks for a large Internet provider. I not only organized materials for co-location data center projects, but also reconciled materials and manpower against project schedules.
