- Graduate school interests
I enjoy historical research, especially the "interesting details." My professors sometimes tell me to focus less on these narrative details and more on an author's research conclusions, but I find this difficult. History is like a story, sometimes a mystery, where researchers uncover clues and motivations about past events. I also enjoy the genre of film, and analyzing what historical films say about the era they depict as well as the generation which produced them.
