About
I am currently in my senior year as a biomedical engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin. I’m track 4 within BME which means I have an emphasis on biomechanics. I opted to graduate in five years rather than four because I am very passionate about my business minor and computer science & engineering certificate, and in order to fit those classes in I needed an extra year.
My plan as of now is to go into industry after I graduate, but I am open to and considering going to graduate school, and I’m hoping to work with medical devices and prosthetics, preferably on the design side of them. I’m very passionate about my major because a lot of my family have been affected by medical problems that I believe could have been preventable, so working hard will not be a chore for me
I’m currently searching for a full-time job when I graduate in May 2021, preferably in or related to the design aspect in the field of medical devices or prosthetics within biomedical engineering. I believe I am well experienced and have a lot of the soft and technical skills necessary for jobs in this area which are talked about on the next page. I am open to relocation as well.
