Dawn Farthing

I am a wife and a mother to three wonderful boys. I am currently attending my first year at Purdue Global University. I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. Just recently, I earned my Associate of Science in Medical Billing and Coding at Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA). I previously earned my Medical Assisting degree at Remington College, which led to my official experienced job in the medical field, as an MA, for five Internal Medicine physicians at University Hospitals; meanwhile, I discovered my passion for helping others. Healthcare is where my heart belongs. At the present time, I belong to the Student Ambassador Community at UMA. It is a great honor and privilege helping others while given the opportunity to "pay it forward" to the community. Simultaneously, I am mastering the ability to develop positive relationships, gain social awareness, and strong leadership skills; in which makes achieving both short-term and long-term career goals easier. Throughout my entire time at UMA, I maintained and recently graduated with a 4.0 GPA on the Dean's List. With pleasure, it is of utmost importance that I ranked as "Highest Honors Member" of Honor Society. I have a strong desire of completing my degree remaining within the Honor Society program; I will remain humble and grounded beyond achieving success in life.
