About
Life has been quite a journey as a late bloomer completing a passion to graduate with a doctorate degree. My path has always been God and family first. I am established in a church and have raised my son as a single parent. I excited to have to have had pleasurable opportunities to glen from mentors and now be in position to give back. My success is redefined by the fruit of my labor. I am excited about more changes life will bring

Goals and interests

As I am becoming more seasoned in my professional career, I am more aware of the importance in leaving a legacy to future generations. In quest of that goal, and being at a point of retirement, my moto is to “teach on the beach “
I am not ready to stop nursing after this current 20 year school nursing career,. This DNP program has ignited what I have yet to begin what I am born to do… Teach- Graduate school interests
Completion of the doctorate of Nursing practice degree is a very personal and proud accomplishment as my initial dream was to be a doctor when this program did not exist. Nursing too was a passion, however , at the time I wanted the self -recognition being well versed in my medical craft. The DNP program is a dream fulfilled after many sacrifices.
