About

I am a North Central Missouri College student. Never thought I would ever attend college in my life time coming from a large family and even the thought of entering college was never an option. Although, life has it's ups and downs, left & right turns it seems. My intention at the time before applying and even attending college was to be a nurse. My life dream of becoming a nursing was so real and as though it was just stepping stone of opportunity. Even as young girl I wanted to become nurse. My grandmother was in the nursing field and she always expressed her love for it. This really evolved my decision in becoming a nurse. But, life took a different direction and my dream of becoming a nurse seemed to fade away. Dealing with so many obstacle in life, hardships that came my way was so overwhelming. Realizing that everything turned in a 90 degree angle it seems. Through many adversities in life, my career path had changed so sufficiently. As the Health Information Management Program came new, my interest became more obvious. I can say that it was the right decision that I could have ever made.
