About
I am an undergrad that currently attends Kaplan University. I am a part time caregiver, full time student and a mother. I am pursuing my Bachelor's in Science in Healthcare Administration. As of right now, I hold a 3.95 cumulative GPA. I managed to earn a spot on the President's list in my first semester which began on April 20th. I struggled during my second semester while still getting acquainted with the online schooling aspect such as accessing my online books, but I did make it on the Dean's list for that semester with a 3.85 GPA. My third semester has now ended and I earned a 4.0 GPA for the semester. I plan to continue my studies and fully dedicate myself to my education in hopes to graduate with honors. Once I graduate, I plan to continue my education and obtain my certifications with the AAHAM and possibly obtain my Masters so that I stay equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to efficiently run healthcare facilities.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
As of right now, I am a caregiver. In the future I plan to obtain a job at a long term care facility so that I can learn the ways around the business. As I work toward my degree, I also want to work my up in positions at said facility. Once I graduate I plan to try to take a job as an administrative assistant or manager at a healthcare facility. One I gain 3 years experience, I plan to obtain my certifications in my state of Florida as well as any Administrative certifications I will be eligible for. Once I feel confident in my knowledge, skills and abilities I plan to become a Nursing Home Administrator.
