About
I am Deliyah Gibson-McGhee, currently in my final semester at Southwest Community College, where I am pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and plan to graduate on May 14, 2026. I am officially continuing my education at Christian Brothers University to further my academic and career goals.
I am passionate about education and aspire to become a teacher who inspires students to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. My interest in teaching developed through my experience helping classmates understand challenging material and supporting others in building confidence, especially in subjects like history, which I enjoy because it helps me understand how past events shape the present.
I began my academic journey by earning a certification in medical administration at age 17, which gave me early experience in organization, responsibility, and empathy. My studies in business management have helped me strengthen my leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
My goal is to become an educator who creates a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged, confident, and able to think critically and succeed.
